Savanna Traditionnel 2006 13 year old is a rum from Single Cask n. 985. This release has been aged in a tropical climate and refined in ex-Calvados barrels. Limited and numbered edition of only 720 bottles. To the eye it presents itself with a beautiful bright, intense red amber color. A color that conveys elegance and opulence at the same time. On the nose it is extremely complex. Apples, pears, a hint of vanilla, wood and oriental spices are the masters! On the palate it seems a little heavier compared to the light aromas on the nose. Earthy and mineral tones are clearly recognizable, a sweet note of sugar cane, vanilla and the important calvados finish emerges. An agricole from another time!
