Aged 18 years in a first-use bourbon barrel (No. 6358), distilled in October 2007 and bottled in April 2026 in only 272 bottles-a whiskey captured at exactly the right time.

In the glass, it is immediately clear why WDC secured this cask: a fine, elegant peat smoke, a vibrant lime freshness that gives the distillate immediate tension, followed by sweet notes like passion fruit, vine peach, ripe and juicy. Underneath lurks a fresh mineral depth, almost like wet limestone.

The palate is powerful, structured, intense, yet perfectly balanced. This precise combination is what makes Bowmore so unique.
