La Bruja de Rozas is a Spanish red wine produced with natural methods by the Comando G company; the latter is a young winery in Madrid born with the idea of giving a different look to the Granache grape by producing wines from old vines, hence the name where "G" stands for Grenache.
La Bruja de Rozas is a red obtained from 100% Grenache grapes which derive from three small vineyards with vines aged between 50 and 90 years, which grow on a predominantly granite and sandy soil at an altitude of 800- 900 meters above sea level.
This altitude allows for balanced maturation and very fresh wines. Comando G cultivates according to biodynamic principles, completely respecting the environment. The grapes produced by each vineyard are fermented separately with local yeasts from the vineyards, then the wine ages for 7 months in 500-litre French wooden vats.
Comando G's Bruja de Rozas is a fresh and characterful version of Grenache, which offers citrus aromas of orange peel accompanied by red fruits on the nose and a subtle mineral note. On the palate it is soft and elegant. A very fresh, delicate and versatile wine.
