Appleton Hearts Collection is a limited edition range of three 100% Pot Still single marks selected by Luca Gargano and Appleton Estate’s legendary Master Blender, Joy Spence. It is composed of three unique vintages: 1994, 1995 and 1999, aged 26, 25 and 21 years respectively. The Hearts Collection represents a world first: the rums that make up this release are in fact the first single marks rums, 100% Pot Still and vintage, that Appleton Estate has ever released in its history. Joy initially chose ten rums of different vintages, from the almost 200 thousand aging at Appleton Estate, one of the largest stocks in the world. During a trip to Jamaica, Luca and Joy met at the distillery and together conducted a blind tasting to select the same three rums. This is how a unique edition was born, capable of taking you to the heart of Jamaica to appreciate the many aromatic nuances and colors of Appleton Estate and Joy Spence's blends.
