Romdeluxe's fantastic journey continues with Wild Series Rum No. 71 from the world's funkiest island: Jamaica.

This is a 5-year-old rum from the Hampden Distillery (a “secret” distillery).
It was aged on the mainland and has an ester level classified as HGML, meaning it contains between 1,000 and 1,100 g/hl of AA (anhydrous alcohol), placing it at the high end of this scale.
It was aged in a 250-liter virgin oak barrel, which imparted pleasant notes of dry wood, perfectly enhancing its fruity profile.
It is bottled at full cask strength (85.2%): a choice Romdeluxe was happy to make to satisfy all the rum aficionados in attendance at the 2026 Berlin Rumfest!
