A blend created in collaboration with the blogger "Le Blog a Roger" consisting of an already reduced rum from the most secret Jamaican distillery, 2011 vintage. From there a 100% "Rasta" blend was created, combining a very expressive WP with a 35 year old HPDN, a 25 year old New Yarmouth, another 19 year old HPDN and even a good old C<>H from 1990.

The nose does not lie, a fairly pronounced fruitiness with lots of flambéed banana, roasted pineapple, Granny Smith apple, lemon accompanied by raw marzipan, pink pepper, milk chocolate and of course a kind of Patex glue, solvent but without too much exaggeration. There are also woody notes, with licorice, cinnamon, blond tobacco, leather, cooked caramel, pencil tip and milk chocolate. A rather perfumed and distinctive profile, accessible without too much olive and with just a hint of poscaille and anchovy.

A rather lively entry to the palate, without overwhelming the palate, we are faced with a lot of exotic fruit covered in caramel, with some notes of dried fruit, solvents, leather, Christmas spices, cooked marzipan and pink pepper. The whole is very similar to brioche, delicious with a nice acidity that evokes the rums of the island, as well as a smoky aftertaste that tends to remind us of Hampden... which is not entirely illogical given what is in the blend. The finish, of nougat and of medium length, offers us a very pleasant and gourmet moment, with a slight bitterness and a strong "return" flavor.
