Père Labat 2010 is a Rhum Agricole by Marie Galante that comes from the cultivation of ancient varieties of sugar cane that are manually harvested on 120 hectares of land owned and taken to the distillery on animal-drawn carts. after fermentation of the juice, distillation takes place in the historic crèole column of the 1950s. aging takes place in a tropical climate for 8 years in ex-bourbon barrels, the vintage was declared on the label to enhance this liquid, fruit of a very high quality harvest like 2010, of which only a few particularly qualitative barrels were selected.
