The Grape of the Art Hontambere 1983 was presented at the "German Armagnac Festival 2024".
It is a Ténarèze distilled from Ugni Blanc grapes, it is aged for 39 years in the cellar in #G4 barrels and bottled at 54.2% as released from wood for a total of 249 bottles in total.
The heavy bouquet immerses you in a cedar paneled palace filled with Cuban tobacco, blackstrap molasses and tropical ripe molasses. Complex incense hangs in the air. Baskets of juicy raisins and black cherries are a tempting invitation to tasting!
The palate is conquered by the sweetness of raisins, dark chocolate and mocha! The cherry and strawberry jam completes a very rich and fruity body!
