Cutxan 2006/2022 15 y.o. 50.5% cask#T37 Grape of the Art is an Armagnac aged for 15 years in a humid cellar. The name "Cutxan" pays homage to a French village, while the intriguing designs on the label draw inspiration from an Inca deity.

This Armagnac was produced in 2006 by Domaine Cutxan from Baco grapes in Bas Armagnac, France.

It matured for 15 years in T36 cask in a humid warehouse and was bottled in 2022 (07/2022) at cask strength with 51.2%. For the distillation an alembic armagnacais (column still) was used.

Starts with nice juicy grapes, oak is well tuned with all the spirit, Asian spices, gingerbread, licorice, vanilla, dried apricots and peaches, orange zest, pecan cake with milk chocolate frosting and a trace leather made. It follows a bit the path of "Le Freche". On the palate it shows power and spiciness, with a juicy fruity and floral note that accompanies us throughout the tasting.
