Trinidad's legendary rum distillery Caroni closed its doors in 2003. Since then, these distinctive and particularly 'heavy' rums have become among the most collected. This Caroni rum is from the 1998 vintage. Aged for 11 years in the tropical climate and for 13 years on the continent, it was bottled in 2022 with an alcohol content of 62.9%.
