A fantastic 13 year old Scottish single malt from the Macduff distillery, distilled in 2011 aged in a first fill ex-Tokaji wine cask, selected and bottled by Valinch & Mallet. Bottled at 52.8% ABV, without cold filtration or added coloring, it offers a rich and complex aromatic profile. On the nose notes of ripe fruit, royal jelly and hints of raisins, with hints of sweet spices and vanilla. In the mouth there are flavors of dried fruit, caramel and a delicate influence of Tokaji wine. The finish is long and persistent, with nuances of spice and fruity sweetness. Ideal for enthusiasts looking for a complex and refined whisky, with a harmonious balance between sweetness and spice.
