The Barbosa Amado and Vicente family has been growing sugarcane in Cape Verde for over 50 years on their family farm in Praia de Mangue, on the island of Santiago. The sugar ferments naturally, and the resulting spirit is distilled in a pot still. A true expression of artisanal Cape Verdean rum!
