After a hiatus of several years, Rhum Rhum is finally back in full production and is presenting an extraordinary tribute to Grégoire Hayot of Karukera, who hosted these barrels in his aging warehouse in Guadeloupe.
This release, like every Rhum Rhum, is produced through an extremely long fermentation process, followed by discontinuous distillation in a water bath using small copper stills.
Distilled in 2012, Rhum Rhum Vieux was aged for 12 years in the tropical climate of Guadeloupe in barrels that previously held fine French white wines.
