The cuvee d'excellence Saint James is a celebratory version - created by the oenologist and master distiller Marc Sassier - of a very important award received by the distillery in 2008. The award in question is the Excellence at the prestigious Concours Agricole General in Paris, won for having won the gold medal for the fifth consecutive year. 

It is eaten smooth or with a few ice cubes. It can be accompanied by almond paste. With the civée d'excellence they can also mix classic cocktails such as El Presidente.
