Brewers at heart, distillers by talent, they are responsible for the fruitiest single malt in the States, and it is precisely a powerful and explosive fruit that made us fall in love with the single cask 109-2. The malt whisky from Baronesse variety barley (semi-extinct and reintroduced in the State of Washington) rested for almost six years in a refill barrel that had already contained Copperworks. The result is a super intense mix of fruity notes that range from crisp apples to mango and papaya, to arrive at a finish with amazing notes of thyme. Fruit salad has never been so grunge.
