Tatanka is an artisan company from Martinique, which produces hand paintings on various supports. Designed since 1996 by a Martinican artist who paints directly on the glass in a naive artistic style, these bottles represent scenes of life in the distillery. It is a tribute to the hard work of the men and women involved in the development of Neisson rums. Three different illustrations are available for each special edition.

The Neisson Distillery is located in Le Carbet, Martinique. It was created in 1932 by the Neisson brothers. Jean, a chemical engineer by training, has dedicated his professional life to improving distillation techniques. Jean's descendants, Claudine and then her son Grégory, took over the family baton. The transition to organic farming began in 2013, and in 2016 the first Martinique AOC organic rum was offered to consumers. Gradually, the whole land, more than 40 hectares, experienced the same evolution. After years of research, Neisson uses its own strains of indigenous yeasts, selected from those naturally present on the distillery's barrels. Reasoned choice of crop varieties for their adaptation to the type of each plot, control of watering to save water, efficient treatment of effluents: today everything contributes to the production of high quality agricultural rums in harmony with the ecosystem of the Neisson lands.
