Winestillery Florentis Tuscan Malt Whiskey Primo opens a new chapter in the world of whiskey for the Chioccioli Altadonna family: it is an extraordinary Single Cask that was selected by Luca Gargano for the Velier Live 2024.
The production process includes a spontaneous fermentation lasting six days, the use of a "Frilli" type pot still, a hybrid copper still and a single discontinuous distillation. The whiskey is then aged in 225 liter Tuscan oak barriques previously used for super Tuscan red wines. Made with Italian barley, rye and wheat, and enriched by water from the Fiora Springs, this whiskey is produced in a climate that has maximum temperatures of 27°C and minimum temperatures of 14°C, with humidity that is always maintained around 50%.
