This limited release Macallan 1861 Replica bottling was born with the aim of recreating the spiritual style of Macallan from an old and rare vintage. Bottled at 47.2% ABV in 2002 as the second release in the Replica series, this Speysider is one of approximately 17,000 bottles complete with original presentation box.

The nose is full of spices, a little ginger and cinnamon and some more sour ones like cumin and chilli. On the palate a hint of peat, exotic spices and a lot of summer fruit. The finish is long, dry, warm and relaxing. A release for true enthusiasts!
