Angostura

The history ofthe House of Angosturadates back to 1824, when Dr.Johann Gottlieb Benjamin Siegert developed an aromatic blend in Venezuela that would go on to become famous throughout the world: Angostura Bitters. After relocating to Trinidad, the company gradually expanded its operations, becoming one of the symbols of Caribbean production.

Today, Angostura is synonymous with quality and stylistic consistency, capable of blending tradition and innovation while maintaining a strong connection to its region. Over the decades, the brand has built a solid reputation both in the world of mixology and among rum connoisseurs.

The production of Angostura rums is distinguished by direct oversight of every stage: from fermentation to distillation, all the way through tropical aging in ex-bourbon barrels. The distillery primarily uses continuous distillation columns, which produce clean and elegant spirits—perfect for developing a balanced aromatic profile during aging. A complete range, designed to suit every occasion, from contemporary cocktail culture to a more thoughtful and meditative tasting experience.
