Saint James
The history of St James begins in 1765 when the reverend Edmon Léfebure, superior father of the order of the Frères de la Charité begins the production of Guildive in the first distillery in history located in Trou Vaillant, on the heights of Saint Pierre, the town on the slopes of the Pélé Volcano, where the volcanic terroir has always influenced the body and structure of the best Rhum Agricole in Martinique. Today the Saint James distillery has a production of sugar cane that extends over 275 hectares capable of covering almost all of the raw material necessary to produce its own rhum agricoles AOC.
