This is a special series carefully selected by Romdeluxe.
The Wild Nature Series RomDeluxe No. 51 is distilled in Guyana, specifically from the Port Mourant wooden double pot still, built in 1732 and therefore one of the oldest still in use today. This kettle has helped produce some of the most prestigious rums in the world and our number 51 is no exception.
For the Wild series rum no. 51 only the finest cane molasses is used, and the rum is aged in the finest ex-bourbon barrels, which adds complex aromatic nuances to the interaction between the distilled product and the wood. Since its aging method is predominantly continental, we can expect a more uniform and rounded aging profile, essential for its harmonious and full-bodied taste.
With its alcohol content of 57.5%, this rum is intense and full of aromas. It reveals all its typical characteristics of the Guyanese terroir and the special distillation method. The rum that flows from the Port Mourant wooden double pot still is known for its thick, rich and spicy character.
