"Bow your head as you enter the medieval wood-framed store and taste aromatic country wines with their freshly printed labels, including birch, elderflower and dandelion, all served in silver tasting glasses."

Amber in color.

Pronounced rancio aromas emerge on the nose, offering a funky complexity that weaves nutty and nutty nuances with delicate roasted and smoky notes. These oxidized notes then evolve into more complex aromas of dried figs, burnt caramel and a subtle touch of leather.

The attack on the palate is firm, immediately showing a harmonious balance of ripe fruit and well-integrated tannins, providing a rich, velvety texture with exceptional roundness. The dark orange hue indicates both maturity and the presence of oxidative aging. As the Armagnac develops on the palate, the texture is soft and full, filling the mouth with an evolving complexity of flavors. Toasted almonds and sweet raisins lead the way, but are soon joined by more complex notes of candied orange peel, cooked plums and even a hint of black tea.

The finish is remarkably long, with the flavors lingering gracefully on the palate. Dried apricots, toasted nuts and sweet spices such as cinnamon and cloves dance in harmony, leaving a lingering warmth. A delicate saltiness in the background complements the sweet fruits, adding an almost maritime freshness to the experience. The final impression is one of refined complexity, with an aged but vibrant character that demonstrates careful craftsmanship and extended aging. This Armagnac leaves you with a deeply satisfying sensation as its rich and diverse profile is revealed with every sip.
