The grapes are grown in the "Girlan" subzone on the hills of Oltradige, at an elevation of 450 to 500 m above sea level, and in Egna in the Bassa Atesina in well-ventilated vineyards. The production soil is rich in minerals, formed from glacial-age sediments.
Harvesting is done manually in small containers for transport to the winery. Gentle crushing and racking for natural sedimentation of the must. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel vats and aging on fine yeasts in stainless steel tanks.
The cultivation of the Chardonnay grape variety has a long tradition in Girlan. The dry, particularly fine and delicate aroma and full-bodied, elegant and lively palate make Chardonnay a popular aperitif and is paired with appetizers, fish and white meat.
