Vieux Casimir 10 y.o. is produced in Barradères, in southwestern Haiti, from Faubert Casimir’s Clairin, one of the most representative examples of the extraordinary diversity of Haitian spirits.

Produced from the “Hawaii” variety of sugarcane, grown in the Barradères region, this Clairin is one of the very first aging experiments launched in 2016. This release is a blend of five ex-Caroni barrels, filled in 2016 and selected after 10 years of aging. This is an exceptionally long aging period for a Clairin, made even more significant by an angel’s share exceeding 58%.
It is the oldest Casimir expression ever produced and the only 10-year-old Casimir currently available in Haiti. It is bottled at full proof, without dilution, fully preserving the character acquired during its long aging process.
