Distilled at the Mount Gay Rum Refinery through a triple pot still distillation by Frank Ward in collaboration with Luca Gargano and subsequently aged in ex bourbon barrels.
It is a vintage rum with important flavors and aromas which does not need long to present itself as a product of excellent workmanship. This Pure Single Rum "Last Ward", produced by Habitation Velier distilled on the fantastic island of Barbados by the Mount Gay Distillery, is an elaborate that in the manufacturing process undergoes a triple distillation and which, once made, ages for 10 years in barrels used for Bourbon. The "Last Ward" will captivate you with an intense and enveloping juice, warm and witty, ideal for post dinner with friends.
To the eyes of a warm amber color, to the nose it grants complex smells in which dried fruit and hot exotic alternate. In the mouth it is enveloping, sweet and vigorous fruity and with a persistent finish.
