Tenuta San Guido's Sassicaia 2020 comes from a 75-hectare vineyard that is particularly well suited, in which the plots have different characteristics, with limestone formations and a high stony content, a peculiarity from which the toponym "sassicaia" probably derives. The exposure of the soils is west and southwest. Fermentation takes place in steel, at a controlled temperature, with maceration on the skins for about 10 days. Aging of Tenuta San Guido's Bolgheri Sassicaia DOC takes place in French oak barriques, for 24 months, with subsequent bottle aging.
