Rum from a secret distillery on the island of Mauritius and column distilled (not Creole) from cane juice, without the addition of molasses.

Despite having spent only 2 of its 8 years in the tropical climate the cask was able to leave an important imprint with vanilla notes almost impossible to find in rums of this type. The raw material (pure cane juice) makes itself felt but without the emphasis and "greenness" of agricultural rums, rather with sweetness and notes of tropical fruit.

We chose it as part of the The Spirit of Art collection, where we like to pair the distillate with a painting by an emerging artist, so as to combine the art of distillation with that of painting.
