Serragrilli is a gentle hill in the Municipality of Neive mapped to Sheet 7 parcels 18-136-138-324 and facing South-West, where the Nebbiolo bunches receive the sun's rays until late in the evening. The soil has a uniform structure and composition. The soil is compact and the correlation between macro and microelements is homogeneous, clay and limestone are covered by an adequate mantle of quartz sands and very fine silt. The vineyard extends in the upper part of the hill, until it reaches the ridge.
The color is a beautiful, bright garnet red. The nose opens with fruity notes reminiscent of blackberry and raspberry, while, in the background, the spicy hints of cinnamon and cloves appear. The power impresses on the palate, mitigated by the elegance that reveals the tannins, already sweet and well blended.
It is the ideal companion for typical Langhe appetizers, pasta and agnolotti with savory sauces, red meats, roasts, braised and boiled meats, medium-aged hard cheeses.
