A new project conceived and created by Maestro Matteo Festa. The French Folklore series aims to broaden perspectives on the world of French spirits, with the goal of offering new interpretations of French spirits.
This Bas Armagnac, produced by Domaine Garreau, is the first in this series.
A 41-year-old spirit brimming with character, vibrancy, and depth.
It has a beautiful, glossy amaranth color.
On the palate, we immediately sense the essence of Bas Armagnac that Domaine Garreau seeks to convey, The body is robust; the alcohol is noticeable but never overpowering. Notes of grape pomace dominate—tart and sweet at the same time—with a subtle hint of caramel and young spices in the background, accompanying a sip that is always extremely smooth and thoroughly enjoyable. The 41-year aging process has given this release great robustness without losing that hint of pleasant acidity....a must-try, again and again!!!
