The 1998 Marquestau is a Bàs Armagnac from Baco grapes aged for 25 years obviously in a single barrel (n.225).

It presents a wonderful balance between the fruity aroma of the splendid eaux-de-vie of the domaine and the woody notes donated by the barrel! Added to this are fascinating hints of caramel and chocolate that give depth and consistency to an already extremely rich and varied bouquet!
