Drouin and the marriage of rum and Calvados: a wonderful experiment! The Experimental JM VSOP by Drouin is a 10-year-old Calvados Pays d'Auge that has undergone a long ageing in barrels that previously contained VSOPs of important JM rhum agricoles. The seventh edition of the Expérimental range by Christian Drouin takes us to Martinique. Of this Calvados, Guillaume Drouin said: “We have chosen a Calvados that is quite tender and gourmet for this association with the world of rum agricoles. The rum barrel gives the Calvados a caress of vanilla and extra roundness. JM Angels is, without a doubt, the most delicate finish we have obtained in this range with old rum barrels."
