The San Polo winery produces the Brunello di Montalcino Podernovi starting from selected Sangiovese grapes grown on soils rich in minerals, marl and clay and harvested manually in the first ten days of October. The winemaking processes begin with fermentation in Slavonian oak vats for about a month and end with aging first in barrels for 30 months and then in the bottle for at least 6 months. A high quality wine is thus produced, thanks also to the wonderful vintage. An explosion of aromas, harmony and excellent balance, a Brunello with a remarkable evolutionary potential, capable of thrilling even the most refined palates.
With an intense ruby red color, it offers the nose a seductive bouquet of fresh fruit, spices and flowers such as violet, jasmine and cyclamen, notes that are also sweet on the palate through a refined, balanced and persistent taste.
