A red that made the history of Italian wine, the first Sangiovese to be aged in barrique, the first modern wine blended with non-traditional varieties, among the first Chianti reds not to include white grapes in its assembly. A milestone that year after year continues to amaze fans from all over the world. Produced from a careful selection of Sangiovese, over 80%, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc, after aging in barrique for about 12 months, it rests in the bottle for a further year of aging.
