It is a pure Merlot which owes its name to a small stream that flows near the property. When in 1994 Rita and Virgilio took two barriques of Merlot out of production, perhaps they didn't think they had created what would become an international cult-wine.

From those vineyards planted in 1988, in the heart of the company on a slight slope, an exceptional fruit was born. Their position, the composition of the land and the microclimate in their combination had given birth to this unique wine of its kind.

In the mouth it is very elegant, like a ballerina dancing in the glass, with that grace that blends harmoniously with the powerful and muscular body. A single-variety merlot that has rightfully entered history.
