Hakushu Distiller's Reserve is a whiskey born in Japan, owned by Beam-Suntory, in a distillery in the mountain forests of Suntory, nestled deep in Mount Kaikomagatake. Single Malt Whiskey Hakushu is fresh and delicately smoky, with herbaceous notes, making it the revelation of Japanese single malts.
No wonder Hakushu is a "green and fresh" whiskey, as it comes straight from the pristine forests and fresh, fresh mountain waters of the southern Japanese Alps. Keizo Saji, is the second master blender in the family, having inherited his father's quest to push the boundaries of what a Japanese whiskey can be and can become. After a long search throughout Japan, to discover the highest quality waters and be able to offer a whiskey that all palates could love, he arrives on the rugged mountains in the center of Japan. Hakushu Distillery is undoubtedly one of the highest distilleries in the world.
Its delicate and distinctly floral aroma is unmistakable, with notes of green apple, mint and vanilla.
