The Rhum Basseterre 1995 was distilled in October 1995, produced within the Montebello distillery, in Guadaloupe, famous for its traditional agricultural rums. This Rhum results from the assembly of an agricultural rhum and a traditional rhum. Selected by Luca and Paolo Gargano for Velier and placed in barrels in 2006, it was bottled in 2008. The scents released by the long aging in wood are clearly evident. The Rhum Vieux Guadeloupe 1995 - Basseterre is pleasant sipped on its own, but becomes fabulous if added with a few drops of water, so as to enhance further and complex olfactory hints and gustatory aromas. complex and amber in colour, it fully reveals its balsamic character with hints of clove. Vanilla makes a furtive appearance, quickly recaptured by liquorice and coffee.
